Calvary Hospital is a 250 bed public hospital located in the suburb of Bruce in North Canberra. It contains an Emergency Department, Intensive and Coronary Care Unit, Maternity Unit, medical and surgical wards, Mental Health services, and ambulatory care and outreach facilities and services.
The Hospital offers a range of volunteering opportunities, including hand and foot massage, guiding, gardening and recreational activities and emergency Department volunteer. These programs aim to enhance patients wellbeing. Volunteering at Calvary offers you the chance to help others, and can also be a great opportunity to learn new skills and experience in a supportive environment that provides essential services to the people of Canberra and the ACT.
