The ALS is a proud Aboriginal community organisation. They assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, women and children through representation in court, advice and information, and referral to further support services. The ALS operates throughout NSW and the ACT. The ALS clients are indigenous people of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background. ALS provides legal services in the areas of Criminal Law, Care and Protection of Children, Juvenile Justice. ALS solicitors work in Local Courts, District Courts, the Supreme Court, and Children’s Courts.
